Question on mounting cargo cover

Do all smarts come with the threaded fitting on the right side of the cargo floor near the back of the passenger seat (as you look from the rear of the car?) Just removed the cargo cover and don't see anyway to take out that piece; if anyone knows the secret please advise. Thanks!

I can help a little. All come with it. It is the tie down for a child seat. If I remember if you lift the carpet there is a fitting for one on the left hand side for Oz Blighty and other places like that. Have no desire to remove it so haven't looked as to how to go about it.

The one on the left side is just a plastic plug. The one on the right side can be removed with a torx bit. Under the carpet you will find a metal spacer about a 1/2 long.
