A QUESTION thats been bugging me??

OK I've done a few searches and have so far have not turned up an answer that appeases me.. The Smart Emblem- What does it stand for or mean? Where and how did they come up with it? " C> " The "forward thinking" answer doesn't seem in depth enough. And don't like the chicken beak- could offend a vegetarian or two

C for compact, and, as you say, the forward arrow for... forward!

From Wikipedia:

Quote:
The current Smart brand logo denotes part of a circle representing the wheel and an arrow for "forward thinking".

Now that an odd duck! Which is exactly what people think of the Smart! So we will go with that! The Smart logo was designed to resemble the odd but lovable Puffin. Case closed.

Looks to me like an Old Volvo emblem that lost it's erection.

yes, but what does yuckmoon stand for? ;)

My grandma lived in Alexandria, nearly her whole life, and never learned to drive a car. She would walk everywhere, including to the store, and to her job at the Courthouse, the one where they begged her to come back out of retirement because the young folk couldn't do half the work she could.

If you got married in Alexandria sometime during the past fifty-odd years, there was a very good chance that she did your marriage license.

So if anyone rags on you for selling your car and taking public transport, tell them you followed in very good footsteps. Literally!

Yuckmoon? It's a long crazy teenage night story.

This is the first time in 13 years I haven't had a car. It's taking some getting used to, but I'm commuting into work with my b/f and taking metro and the bus. And if I NEED a car I just take my b/f's. It's going to be weird having a car after getting used to not having/needing one for a year, but I do loves to drive
