Question? [windshield sensor]

Wondering on what the round thing on the windshield is. It looks like some kind of sensor. I have noticed it on the new 2009 models.

It is present on all '08 and early '09 cars with the comfort package, and as mentioned it's a rain and light sensor for the automatic wipers and headlamps. The new 2009 cars don't have it, because the auto lights/wipers have been replaced by fog lamps in the comfort package.

Thanks! Thats why I was confused, I didn't think the 09's came with auto lights/wipers. So what your're saying is that there is really a 08 1/2 model!

My salesman told me the 09 will continue to have the auto lights and wipers???

I have an 09 with the comfort package and mine has the sensor/auto lights-wipers, no fog lights.

From March on, the auto lights/wipers will NOT be available the fog lights have replaced it. I have it on mine and LIKE it
