My red/silver on red passion was the hit of the showroom. All the others around had the dark interiors. Everyone (salesman and customers) that was there at delivery said I made a great choice. I love it.

omahanut... when you get the log in ID and password it will let you access the configurator for 10 days...each time you access and complete a configuration you will get a new e-mail confirmation... I suggest just spending time the first time and make sure all the things you want are selected...It can be a bit trickey but if you play with every button and drop down you will get the hang of it

There really are not that many options or choices

I was done in less then 15 min...

When you hit FINISH (scroll all the way to the bottom of last page)... you will get a final configuration print out with all options and the costs plus total MSRP cost

Need only one tire.

The spare only needs to be a front tire and wheel, as it will fit the rear as well.
However a rear will not inter change with the front.

Are there any issues as to rotation speed if the tires are different sizes on the back? Is one tire the drive tire and the other free rotating? I do not know anything abour the smart rear axle.

That is the case with the 450. A 451 175/55 rear will fit on the front of a 451 with adequate clearances, but it still makes sense to use the narrower front if a 5th wheel is to be carried onboard as a spare.

A true compact, temp spare would be even better. At one time Three Point Motors (M-B/smart) of Victoria, BC sold such a spare. There is a movement afoot on the Club smart Car (Canada) forum to get them to re-stock for a group buy.

I have seen the car and it is my configuration...red ext with red interior! Awsome...I beleive it is the best configuration if you want the interior red. I prefer the exterior blue but I personally did not like it with the red interior. So for me it is red with red or the blue with the black unless they come with a matching blue!!!!
