Quick question about having a large person in my smart

As I had posted some weeks back, my daughter won't allow me to take her now 10 week old daughter in my smart, so on Tues and Thurs when I Kara-sit, I use the Honda and my hubby drives the smart.

His co-worker's car is dead, and he needs to carpool. Thing is, the guy weighs somewhere between 300-450 lbs, and my hubby is easily 230.

Y'all think it'd be ok for this guy to ride in the smart tomorrow??

I know of a few members that will hopefully PM you and say you are A-OK putting the payload in the manual aside. Personally I'd do it, it's just for a day or so right? No worries IMO....and yes I have exceeded that payload before and the car did not explode.

I was in a Jamesburg Memorial Parade with my Smart. The pastor of a church I go to was in the passenger seat. My small car was in the parade. I am 330 lbs and my friend is heavier. We did not have any problems going through the parade. It was a tight fit but it worked.
