Is radio 9 supposed to turn on when no key is in car?

Yes it is supposed to. This allows you to listen, while parked, without having the key on. I believe it will shut off after about 10 min.

Yes, Most German cars will do this.

Do you know what else your smart can do??!!??
put your key to the on position flick your turn signal on turn off the key, your light should stay on. thats a saftey feature for when you parallel park, cars can see your smart parked on the side of the road.

Huh, bigmike005, tried it, did not work. Too bad - that's a feature of the C220 I really like.
