rbro58 (Re: wind noise)

Hello from Northern MN. My Smart 4 Two arrived last November I and have a little over 5000 miles on it. I only have one little concern with the Smart. The wind noise around the windows and doors is quite irritiating and I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. I am in the process of installing a Roadmaster base plate so we can tow the Smart to Az this winter. I plan on doing the installation myself and it looks like I better set aside a whole day for the job.

I have had my Smart since March 2008. I have not had a problem with noise. Did you check to see if the windows are slightly down or the door might be ajar?

I have a little on the drivers side (only) at the top of where the front and "rear" windows join. I've seen this noted (from the same area) on the SmartUSA insider forum, but with no real fix offered. The dealer has adjusted mine twice with no real lasting improvement. It's not awful and, to put it in perspective, if I have the radio on, it's barely noticeable.
