You got a rear window wiper? I must have missed it on the options list for my cabrio...

Ouch! That hurt. I'm afraid the lack of a rear window wiper is the real culprit, not some "idiot" smart designer.

Sounds like your delivery salesperson failed to do his or her job

jimnkaran may well have a wiper if they have a coupe. I was just pointing out that some of us don't have any rear wipers to worry about.

OP does infact have a coupe.... and a rear wiper to boot. Now if he or she would have only read the manual....

Rear wiper worked great in the rain on the way home this evening... and no I didn't take the trip in reverse.

I was wondering what posts 12-14 were carrying on about. I never saw where the OP indicated they had a cabrio.

Thanks for the link, it explained it much better than the book. Book said place it in reverse with the lever in the first position, which I thought was the intermittant position, and it would work. And yes, I have a Passion model so I do have a rear wiper. So many people on here just looking for something to jump onto someone about, but thanks to the ones with respectable, helpfull answers.

No excuse on my part, but I was confused by your post in another thread:

We picked up our new Passion last week at the dealership in Albuquerque, NM and they had 2 orphans available to the first 2 people that wanted them. No waiting. Both were Cabriolets, one white/black and one blue/black.

No problem, but the first sentence in that quote says it all, "we picked up our new PASSION".
