Recommendation of Windshield Replacement

Hey guys...got a rock chip the other day that turned into a crack windshield.
any one know where I should bring for replacement?

For some reason,
Smart Center of San Francisco is referring me to an outside glass repair shop.

Try Smart Center San Jose, perhaps - it seems ScSF is a little light on customer support from other customer experiences recounted on these boards. The glass will probably come from the Smart Center but the glass shops can do the labor. Perhaps your insurance company has a preferred vendor? USAA works with Safelight Auto Glass for mobile replacement, for instance, at www.safelight.com. They come to you.

You realize rock chips would be covered under comprehensive so the replacement through insurance won't increase your insurance rate, right?
