RED Light.. New Corvette, G35, My Litto SMART.. GREEN LIGHT! VRROOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got out of watching a movie with my g/f Anna, on her birthday, she just turned 22 Arrived at a stop light with a brand new corvette in the first lane... Infiniti G35 in the second lane... and my brand new spankin Litto Smart ForTwo Passion in the last.. Third lane... Light turns green, and VROOOOOOOM WE ALL TAKE OFF!!! Wanna guess the outcome? ;)

My litto smart rushed off the line in first gear in front of both the Corvette and G35... 10, 20, 30 mph, Then... both the Corvette and G35 caught up and the Corvette blew right pass me, then the G35 passed me and... weeeeeee..... 60, 70, 80, 90 mph and I'm finally catching up as.. they didn't continue to speed due to potential cops then I catch up and we casually cruise down on HWY 18 in New Brunswick in new jersey for a couple miles before I take the next turn with the Corvette following me.

Phew it was a nice funny race... As we were crusing down, the young guy in the G35 smiled and lightly shook his head left and right and laughed hehe...

The smart is too cute, it can never be taken as an intimiating car ;)

Before you guys tell me I shouldn't be driving the Smart car so hard.. I just kindly ask you guys to wait til I tell you the whole story of this Litto Smart when I drive it back to my home in San Francisco California next week I already went thru one tank of gas within one day =X Okay telling too much, gotta save it for the story later ;)

It just goes to show, where reviews of the smart often dog it for only going 0-60 in 12.8 (or 13.0 depending on whom you read)... the little 3 cylinder fortwo is PLENTY fast enough! My two other cars have a combined 434hp. I never knew 70hp was enough to give me some rockin thrills, but it is. Less is more.

You are absolutely correct!!!! I have found the very same thing with my smartie with 1000 miles on it. As it breaks in, it runs better and better and the transmission shifts smoother and smoother.
I am very happy the way this car is evolving as it breaks in! All of those things that dozens of us ranted on and on about before any cars were released have now fallen by the wayside as non-issues in my book.

I STILL can't wait for the PHEV version!
