Uh-Oh, if that is the new red then they went from the high end to the low end of the color spectrum. That looks more like a burgandy red than the red I thought it would look like. I was hoping for a bright red or fire engine red. Oh well.

The color is a faded red at best. To me and many otheres, it is the color of Campbells tomato soup if that gives you an idea

I don't know and I'm sorry about that. I don't think it's the new. I found this pic on my hard drive and can't remember where I got it. The name of the file is MBStormRed.jpg. I can't imagine I would have made that name up, but also don't remember where I got it. sorry

I just wanted to show the contrast to the current 08 orange'ish red.

they have not made my red cabrio either......mine will be made on November 10 according to smart, but they say red is one of the oldest colors they have, so it is less popular in long existing markets. Photo was of just that days production, and they were being loaded.

This one looks to have to much blue in it. It looks like a custom color.

Here's a pic of a Real Red smart. In the background is the 2008 "tomato soup red" Which I love, btw.
