Is there a shorter process to get a refund? Instead of mailing a letter that will surely take as long to get a reply as getting a call from a dealer.

This may not be the venue to ask this as anyone on this forum has probably not cancelled and requested a refund. Based upon normal business principles, sending PAG a written request is within reason. Call them and ask them if you can fax it to them.

I agree, I wish I would have ordered two. One to keep for me and one to resale but then my wife would want it. She's already trying to claim mine.

He has related on other threads that his dealer told him to expect a two year wait. BAD info for the dealer to have given out, so I can't say as I blame him, given what he was told.

Smartfreak, if you're really a smart freak you'll hang in there. It won't be two years. Whoever you spoke to at your dealer is an idiot!

I just called Smart USA, spoke with a nice lady, gave her my res# and got a check in about 3 weeks

I was a little surprised to hear my wife say "Maybe we should reserve another one." She's not what I'd call a car person; so, maybe I should dial back a notch or two.

The dealer has said you will get your car the day after you reserve it. So I would be looking mid December. Plus I just picked up an 08 Toyota Prius two weeks ago and a 97 Jeep TJ Wednesday. The TJ makes my 18th car in 17 years of buying sice I was 19
