OMG, the best husband in the world. I want one!

So when you start the car, the heated seats turn on? That would be great! And I love the idea of having the factory remote. Neat.

I wouldn't go that far..By doing this I get to keep the dune buggy and Harley in the garage. If I dont then I have to "Tarp" the dune buggy outside and put the bike in the corner taking up space by my work bench.
Lifes a trade off

DO YOU RECOLLECT WHICH WIRES FROM THE 791 WERE USED and WHICH WIRES THEY WERE TIED TO IN THE SMART. HERE WORKING WITH 750i5 AND RS-120-DP. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I have the rs1100 from bulldog security. I used the 791 bypass module that plugs into the remote start unit. Other than that, I had to hook up the power and the ground wires. I do have the vehicle wiring diagram from bulldog to show how to install the remote start and where to find the wires on the Smart for easy wiring of the unit. I hope this helps you. I use the starter every day, and it is nice to get into a warm car in the morning. Here in Michigan, it gets a little cold in the morning. Let me know if I can help.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, and it sound like u might just have it. Can U email it to me? I too would like a warm car. I had to put up with frigid seats last year (Pa gets cold too) and was hoping enough tickering / research would yield some progress in actually making this happen without going to a professional shop and paying hundreds for something I can do myself (and have done in the past). My 08' would be much happier.

EXCELLENT info brabus007. This helps fill in ONE of the gaps.
Need info on how to remove console to get to wires. Anybody posted pics?
Also, still trying to find out if AFTER key is learned in a 791P, is it still necessary to leave it in the unit?
