Removing Safety Stickers

Does anyone know how to remove the warnings from the sun visors? I pulled the clear plastic cover off the label, but the label is still there. Don't want to try acetone for fear of melting the visor. Help!

I commonly use naptha-based cigarette lighter fluid. It is effective and I can't recall anything that it has damaged. Like they always say though - try it somewhere first where it can't be seen.

I didn't think those stickers were to be removed. I tried to remove one in my S-10 and had problems. I contacted the dealer and he said it was not designed to be removed and that it needed to stay. The one on the glove box cover came off easily for me.

Warm it up with a hair dryer, peel off the sticker, use Goof-Off to remove the glue - worked on my Corvette.

What a mess! The goof-off did the trick although it was not easy.
