Reservation to Configuration

Anyone know what the average time from when you make your reservation till you get to configure? 6 months? 9 months?

...and from other posts, it's never the same from car to car. My own experience was as follow:

Reservation - 3/27/07
Configuration - 9/25/07 (5 months, 29 days)
"Confirming 30-day email" - 1/10/08
Picked up smart - 2/13/08 (323 days = 10 months, 17 days)

Hope that helps. Others have had/will have varying timelines.

I reserved 4/4/07 and configured 11/17/07, never received the 30 day email but the ship transporting my car docked yesterday in Baltimore. I'm hoping it will be at the dealer and ready to pick up by March 1.

I reserved 3/29/2007 (#1183, Metallic Blue/black/black leather) and confirmed on 10/26/2007. I understand Edison, NJ is receiving cars tomorrow but mine is not in this shipment. Go figure. Patience is a virtue.

How do you know it was on a boat?
