Kudos to 59MIKE and rfernatt. you guys were right on. I had the cabrio in for a malfunctioning parking brake; turned out to just need a little lube of the release button. While there I asked about the clips I had found. I didn't even get them out of the baggie I had them in and the service rep. said yes I know what those are. You guys were right on. Their from behind the rear "bumper" body panel and a heat shield. There are 3 of them and according to him these will sometimes come loose and fall if the "bumper" is bumped in a parking lot or such. No problem operating without them. Once again thanks guys for the heads up.
