I shove my hair up under a hat. If going FAST, I just open the passenger side only. If going REALLY FAST, it's too loud, so I keep the window up and use the AC.

But I actually think Rigger has the best solution.

Only roll down one side, it will improve your aerodynamics and prevent the "windstorm effect"

With the windows down, I just plop on a baseball cap that matches my Smart - makes sure the Westie and myself have on our sunglasses - and enjoy breeze . . . . . . . no cares about our hair.

when you're hair is short as mine, the windstorm effect is no problem.. but it's quite funny the first time I did that. I kept reciepts stowed in the steering cubby.. needless to say they're gone now.

I just open them up,open the top,put rubberbands in my beard, and go.I might wear a hat to avoid a sunburned head.

While alone, with the passenger window down all the way and the driver's side down only 2-3", it musses the top. But no hair in the eyes.

Ball cap keeps my hair and the sun out of my eyes. Cabrio, top back whenever practical. Windows might be open too, but not so much over 40 MPH ... just too noisy.
