"Rosie" arrived this morning!!! - Smart Car of America Forums : Smart Car Forum

So at 7:00 am this morning I met the largest truck transport carrier I've ever seen at a nearby shopping center- and out rolled Rosie my little pink custom cabrio- all the way from Portland Oregon to Raleigh,North Carolina! It's so nice to finally have her in my garage.
We had a wonderful time visiting Portland and meeting all the great people at Smart Center Portland and also meeting John H. During our long weekend Rosie went to Cannon Beach one day and to several wineries another day. I think we put 250 miles on her in just a couple of days.
So Raleigh Smarties-keep an eye out for us!!

I cant beleive you didn't post pics of it comming off that truck.

Are you sure it was all that big or is it just in compairison to Rosie

Unfortunately, i wasn't thinking too clearly this morning and forgot to take my camera, but even if Rosie was a normal size car -this truck was huge!!! It was a regular 18 wheeler truck with another regular size truck hitched together- no wonder he couldn't come to my neighborhood.

The driver wanted to meet at a shopping center and when I arrived and called him he said he was around the back of the center- I guess he slept in his truck there last night as he got in really late. It was funny though- we felt we were going to a drug deal or something behind this shopping center with no one else around.

Very nice job - kind of a 'bubble gum" pink or as you say "cotton candy pink" - a bit 'girly' for a macho guy like me tho~! It's adorable - enjoy!

Hey pup I'd love to see a pink smart in person since there's only what like three that I know of in US right now. I still wonder why we have no activity around Raleigh there are more smarts but no smart get togethers. Congratulations on your custom "smart" but personally I'll stick with my red.
