That was us in the yellow bumblebee this afternoon on Nickajack.
We really didn't mean to treat you the way we did, after you waved and smiled and pumped your fist and all. You were very friendly, and deserved better.
You see, we've never seen
another Smart "in the wild" before, and my daughter's first reaction was "somebody stole my car!"
My first reaction was, a.) OMG,
that's not my husband in her car! and b.) he's better looking, uh, I mean, not as nice looking as my husband! (Erm, yeah, that's the ticket.)
It wasn't til you passed and my daughter had already given you evils and I had erased the deer in the headlights look off my face that we realized
your Smart had zebra stripes.
Boy, did
we feel stupid.
See, we've been spoiled for so long, being the only Smart in the Village.
So, welcome, welcome,
welcome fellow local Smart owner. We're so happy you're here, and hope to see you around, and next time we do, we'll be sure to frantically wave and beep to make up for our Faux Pas pour Deux.
