Salvage Smart Car parts sharing?

I need some bits from a salvage Smart but really don't need an entire car. If any rebuilders out there need some parts we can talk.

What I need:

Drivers side tie rods, both, or complete steering rack to make it easy.
Transmission control Module.
Some interior nuts and bolts.

Might need:
Possibly a Cabrio top.

I don't need:
Anything not listed above, just sayin'.
Motor.
Tridion (although... I could make some cool furniture with one).
Wheels.
Brakes.
Seats.
Airbags.
Body Panels.

Can't help you.. but a tridion sofa/lounge would so sweet!!

The tridion safety cell would especially help the sofa when getting rear ended.

I am looking for all the "white" plastic on the interior and the dash top in black that isn't damaged.Maybe someone with a salvage licence can get one and part it out for the rest of us for a fair price?

im looking for a extra tire, rim anyone? are there any junk yards that does have a smart in it you can ask your insurance agent to look in the data base

Course, you gotta pay shipping, too. But this is $50 or more less than anyone else. . .

If I had the room here to break one of these down I'd do it... seems like the interest is there.

nonuro- I have the correct license to buy these. I just don't have the need for an entire car or the space at the moment to dismantle one.

FWIW- a fair price on parts depends on how much the entire car costs. These still bring a good price at auction so I think parts would end up running about 50% of new.
