scan gauge II has a BIG competitor!!

Garmin communicates with your car via ESP | SEMA show - CNET Reviews

Garmin has put on its stomping boots with its blue tooth OBDII gauge reader built into the Nuvi phone... add a blue tooth rearview cam and I'll buy one in a hart beat!

I've got a Garmin 885T in my car now, and love talking to it without ever having to touch it from statup to shutdown (total voice control)... This might be a cool adder to it...<:-)) Plus I've got about 8000 songs in it that play through the Smart radio (it uses a mini SD for extra storage)... It automatically mutes the songs when its talking to me or I'm talking to it or using bluetooth... Cool...

Brabus007, do you have a name for it (nuvi)? or how does the voice recognition "start"?

"NUVI.. where are we?"
"Nuvi.. I cant turn left! there is no road there!!"
"NUVI.. recalculate you dumb @!*&&^%% GPS!! I'm not going through there!!

Have you plugged the nuvi's audio out into the radio audio in? its spooky when the WHOLE car tells you to turn right on LEE road... and then.. "arrived at destination" technology is very cool now days.
