Scangauge

Is anyone aware of a “Scangauge” that is available that can be inserted in the clock next to the tachometer? I would like to have the information that is available through Scangauge but do not want to add anything to the dash. I would like to "hide" it in the clock case.
Bill

Thanks

I could not find it ... I appreciate you pointing that out and providing the link.

Sorry to know that it only works in the 450. I think it would be a big seller.

It seems as if it would be but the maker has shown no signs of doing one for the 451 model.

I remember here in a thread that someone installed the Scangauge in there Smart I keep thinking it was in the front center of the roof he even had pictures of it posted.

Cube was the original genius of that idea. A few of us follow suite. My scangauge was ollldd and had a crack in the body of it so that is what that unsightly line in the middle of it is. Somewhere here is a guide. I think Dune may have a link to it in the paying SCOA members section.

Alternatively, if you are going to swap out your radio for an aftermarket, you can consider something like this:

Have not found a good place to put mine, so it sits on the work bench.

mine is on the dash where the pods normally sit. Since I don't have the ods, it looks good there. Right now it is sitting on the desk.

Depending how much your car is in the sun, this may not be a good idea. My one Scangauge that I have had for years got pretty well torched from sitting on the dash in all the different cars I've bought and sold...Matrix, Corolla etc.
