Does anyone know if you can use one Scangauge II on two vehicles or do you have to buy a Scangauge II for each vehicle? Do you need to buy the cable separately or does it come with all the cables that you need? I ask the second because Amazon shows buying the cable separately.
Rats....I just bought mine from Scangauge yesterday for $159. I'm wondering if they do price matches so I don't have to return it and buy it from Amazon......

I bought an extra cable. I want the Scangauge II to be removable for checking engine warning lights of other vehicles.

You can use your Scangauge in multiple vehicles. It comes with a cable included. The extra cable on Amazon is to make it easier to move the Scangauge between vehicles.
These deals pop up on an irregular basis. I had missed them before so I signed up at http://dealnews.com/ to get e-mail notifications in their Automotive section. It took about 2 weeks but yesterday I got the one I'd been waiting for, ordered mine and posted the alert.
