Seat Covers!!!

Does anyone know if there is someplace i can buy seat covers MEANT specifically for Smart's? I bought some ones at a store that could be used in any car but the problem is they have a strap that goes around the middle of the back rest on the seat, so it blocks the Side Impact Airbags!!! I dont know if they Airbags would be able to punch through it or not..

So if you know someplace online here or somewhere else that carries Smart Seat Covers, or if there's a thread already on here about them PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

On the same note, has anyone ever seen seat covers just for the seat and not the backing too? I would be more than happy to have a cover just for where my bum goes. Mainly because the leather is burning my butt. But also because of the airbag and seat belt hook.

I was actually thinking about buying a towel or some other material and sewing something myself. If I have time this weekend I'll see if I can create something and post pics.

WalMart's automotive department carries a "slip-cover" that fits over the front seating surfaces. IIRC it's about 7 or 8 bucks. Should be located near the boxed full-seat covers...

You might want to try Auto Seat Covers - Wet Okole Hawaii They make an awesome seat cover. I checked their website they don't have seat cover for smart just yet. But give them a call to see if they have one in the process. I had it both on my MINI and my Scion xB and they felt very comfortable. They will make the seat covers to manufacturer's specs. ie. If your seat has side airbag their seat cover are made to that spec. They are also easy to clean and maintain. The best part about their seat covers is that they are made out of neoprene like the ones found in wetsuit. So they won't get extremely hot or cold.

EDIT: I just checked their website again and on the front page they have a picture with a smart with the seat cover!!!
