When you have all the pieces together on the front and rear quite a bit as they take up an awkwardly large amount of room. I'm painting a set in a few weeks and for transport/paint mode I'll be disassembling the front and rear (look at the separating lines and you can see how the panels break down even further as you don't have a giant front piece and a giant rear piece). When the panels are fully broke down they don't take up all that much room but different peoples opinions may vary.

I have an extra set of yellow and have found them to be awkward. They don't take a ton of room but the shapes and sizes are different and I'm not sure if they should be stored flat (I wouldn't want them to warp) so I have them propped up against each other.
Funny, now that I have the extra set I am deciding whether or not to keep them. I mean, it costs around $200 in labor to swap them (I won't attempt it myself - I know I'd break every clip) and although I had thought that wasn't too bad twice a year; with the economy the way it is, it now seems frivolous.
I need to think some more...
