Seeing Double!!!!!

Today as I was pulling away from our mailbox, I checked my mirrors and started out on the highway and just then I noticed a car turning the corner behind me and lo and behold, it was another smartie just like mine!!!!! First time I see one and it is identical to mine! I hoped he would go where I was going so I could talk to him, but he turned off behind me. Wow, thought I was seeing double for a second there. I have to wonder what people thought when in these parts it is extremely rare to see one, let alone, 2 of the same color!

Awesome, I have seen my twin around my neck of the woods before In addition, I know who the driver is behind the wheel. I always get a rush when I see another smart on the road besides mine.

LOL

I was at the sc picking mine up last Saturday and the brand specialist told me how rare my white/silver cabio was.... my brother (proud silver/black coupe owner) pointed to another in the lot waiting for pickup

I am unique... just like everyone else

Happy motoring,
26.2

Just like I mentioned the other week.

Showing the car to guy in a parking lot of my town which has all of 3 stores and as I just finished telling him how rare the car is he points then says "Hey, there's one just like yours." Sure enough it was a red/silver/beige Passion driving by. I had heard rumors of the car being in the next town over and now I know its true.

I'm painting my car to a one-of-few color soon!

That I don't know, he was behind me and couldn't get a look at the hubcaps or to see the roof. He should at least know where I live now, maybe he'll stop by for a chat sometime! I do know there is a passion with my same colors like mine in the small town about 20 miles north of us and that is probably who he was, but who knows.

Martek,
When you saw that identical looking image in your mirror, you were experiencing a rare transmission problem with the Smart. What you saw was, actually, yourself coming home the day before. The next time you put that stick into "R" make sure it is all the way engaged in order to avoid 'warp drive reversal'.
