Selling a Reservation

Does anyone know whether it is legal to sell your reservation, i.e. can a reservation be transfered to another person?

From the reservation confirmation (the response to your $99 deposit):
Quote:
Your reservation is non-transferable. Any attempt to assign or transfer your reservation will result in the cancellation of your reservation and a return of your reservation fee without interest.
Sorry!

You can buy the car then sell it.

Go in with him, and make the person who wants your car pay for it.

I think you would be hard pressed at this moment to find someone to sell it to anyway. Things seem to be leveling off a bit.

Your best bet is to try CL and maybe someone here who dosnt want to wait as long as they would have to. Fresh rez.

I think the market is cooling in my area. I've seen the same cars listed and re-listed multiple times on CL. They are all asking over MSRP.

Someone traded in a yellow cabrio at the Ford dealer down the street from me and they haven't been able to move it for over a month. I think things are very cool a the moment. My car is being made on Monday, and I'll pick it up just before Christmas....if I had been hoping to flip it, I would not even pick it up at this point. It's gotten to be that bad.

Gas is down to just over 2 bucks a gallon. If a 40+MPG Smart won't sell... electrics are doomed.

It'll now take 370,000 miles to justify the cost of a $30k electric vehicle vs. a $16k Smart 451. (1.5 c/mi vs 5.25 c/mi)

Time to buy back those SUVs, right? Then we repeat the process in 20 years.
