If the car dies on the highway...
just make sure to keep calm and pull over immediately with the momentum you have left to the shoulder of the road...if the Highway has no shoulder, hopefully you can get your car to the right most lane. It really gets to me when people just stop in the center lane with their hazards on causing a HUGE traffic pile...

hopefully it won't happen again and you'll enjoy your car again.

It happened to me once - and it was my leg hitting the key. The car restarted immediately (it barely slowed down) and has never happened again.

Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions. I know my leg didn't hit the key, nor was it because my keychain was too heavy (had that with my old Saturn, now there's just a little Lego minifig). I'm working on following up with the 1-800 number folks, who are also trying to track down info for me about the guy in Seattle who had the same problem after turning left. Thanks very much for that link! I was a little leary headed home from work today, but bumblebee did fine, and she sure is visible in this pouring rain!
