Should I sell my gas guzzler for a smart?

Taking all emotion out of it (and I love my smart, so that's a hard thing to do). Here are the hard cold facts on moving from your current car to a smart.

it said no for me, but I'm still VERY glad that I made the switch. My old car wasn't a gas guzzler, it got 24-ish... but the smart is better and a LOT more fun to drive/own. I'm so impressed with this car so far...

it said no for me too (comparing to the MINI)....until I bothered to fill in/update the cost of ownership boxes, and then it tipped it to yes

My other car gets about 24 mpg in town without A/C and 1 1/2 mpg less with, and on the highway about 30mpg. I use regular too, although hi-test is suggested. So currently I'm keeping it.

The guzzler trader said no for me, but I have 100,000 miles on my Jeep and it only gets 17 mpg. I will probably keep the Jeep too. No payments on it, and I live on a major muddy road when it rains. I have to put it in 4-wheel to get out of my driveway and get to pavement a mile down the road. Jeep will become 2nd car, and only used to take the canoe out to the lake and to get me to work when it rains. I commute 62 miles one way to work. Will save good chunk of change on the gas.
