signon problems???

has anyone had problems signing on to this website... Smart Car of America - Smart Car Community, News and Information?
as soon as I sign in my PC locks up...everytime???

If I click on a link from my smart club site Suncoast Smarts to this website I have no problems...I just cannot signon directly to this site???????????? My PC goes to 100% utilization and locks up and I get IE Explorer 'Not Responding'

Thanks in advanve for any help.

Well, you posted the message 20 minutes ago, and you're still online. (I guess you came via Suncoast?) ...

No problems on my end. But, I don't use MSIE unless absolutely necessary, which is very rare.

What else have you got your computer doing at the same time? Have you had problems with other sites?

i just signed on this time using FireFox and it seems to be running ok.

Just after I had to do an "End Task" when I was on using IE I did notice some window popped up saying something about a "script was running" but it flashed to fast for me to read it all?

I use IE but don't go to the home page to log in. I never log out and re-enter on the forums page.

I'm not the only one having SCOA crash on IE.

I regularly run Malwarebyte's anti-malware program. it will get rid of most of the newer junk that is going around including the anti-virus that looks like windows stuff but is just a really good virus. I also clear out the history for IE and that seems to help too. No problems running IE on this site or any others... so far...

I did have trouble once and found that my router was messing things up. I ended up getting a newer router. Everything would work when I disconnected the router and went direct to the computer.
