Yellow smart that was hit in the side by a Mitsubishi Spyder. The smart owner was taken to a local hospital but the First Responders on the scene said the Smart impressed them given the impact it was involved in. They said the interior of the vehicle remained intact and performed well. I know that all of us Smart owners hope the driver recovers quickly from this accident and that they are able to have their Smart or its replacement soon.
Visible damage to the Smart, Drivers side door area, rear drivers side tire/wheel broken, rear passenger side tire pulled from wheel, front drivers side corner of body skin broken, hood broken. First responder reports interior completely intact and the car performed well in protecting the driver.
