Smart B!tch

All right so I was driving to school this morning, enjoying my smart. I pulled up to the light I always get caught at, and looked next to me and saw an identical smart. I got a huge smile on my face waved, and my window was already down so I said good morning.

The woman in the other smart look at me like i was crazy threw her cigarette towards my car and rolled up her window.

I'm not sure why, but this seriously pissed me off! She could have at least acknowledged me. What pissed me off the most was the cigarette that almost hit my car!

If you’re this unhappy you should NOT own a smart!

Anyone else encountered someone like this?

Sounds more like a dumb one! Haven`t had anything like that...yet. Don`t let her ruin your day she isn`t worth a second more of your time/day!

Ouch! OK well behavior like this always leaves me making up senarios of what is happening in the lives of others. Pehaps she just found her husband in an, um, compromising position and now she's running off with the only thing he really loves, of course that would be his Smart. Maybe we'll see a police chase in which the chase must be called off because the police cruisers run out of fuel while the Smart keeps going. May seem silly but it beats the thought that someone could actually be unhappy while driving a Smart, plus can keep one in a good mood when others are rude.

I've had that happen with other VW's, some people are just simply clueless. She probably has no idea what she is driving.

Ah...sorry to hear.

Say I am curious was she driving a pure or passion? Cos rolling up the window by hand can be quite comical, given the panic in her eyes that maybe you might throw something back into her smart.

...toddles back to add,

A couple of weeks ago, my daughter and I were in the Yellow Peril, and were passed by a white Pure, who was waving frantically at us.

After a moment of jaw dropping silence, we both started yelling and doing wide dramatic motions back because .......... we thought he had stolen my daughter's white Smart.

It was so unexpected, we just completely forgot for a moment that other people own Smarts, too. And to top it off, this one had zebra stripes, too, but they weren't visible til he passed us.

I felt terrible about giving him such a dramatic drubbing, since he was clearly so pleased so see us, but we laughed our butts off the rest of the ride home.

So maaaaybeeeee.......it's a two Smart family, and the wife thought you were the girlfriend driving her husband's car?!

That's really weird. I would think smart drivers would always smile knowingly at each other. Sounds like she was pretty rude. She doesn't deserve to drive a smartie ** she doesn't have the right temperament.

How can you NOT acknowledge another smart driver! Its such a novel, fun car....its not a Toyota afterall (or a VW for that matter ;) )

Maybe she was still in a twist over paying 23,000 for an orphan?
