So, let me ask you. Where did you get the matchbox smart car. I just went to the site, but couldn't come up with one. Please let me know. Also, do they have other models and colors?

I found the yellow/black in a 5-car MATCHBOX set at Toys R Us around christmastime...I gave that set as a gift to one of our twin daughters: she is all into toy cars right now (age 6). I found myself coveting her little yellow smart so much, i went to Target later (in January) and bought the exact same 5-car set again...but this time I swiped the Bumble Bee smartmobile out of the set before I gave the rest of the cars to the other twin. The girls have about 50 MATCHBOX each, so she really didn't miss the one I swiped! Later in May, when the "real life" smartmobile arrived, the daughter said, "Hey, you got the little yellow car like mine!"

If you click around the MATCHBOX site, you'll find the red/black under their "real" cars...

Revell of Germany did a plastic model kit of the 450 Smart with 3 sets of body panels so you can change colors. !/25 scale...very nice but a little hard to find today.
