I have been lurking on the NJ sub forum because there seemed to be so few New Yorkers here. I would be happy to participate in a NY subforum and/or enthusiasts club.

I'm in Park Slope Brooklyn and anticipate my car by the end of this month. I'm very interested in something like that.

If nothing else, it'd be a good way for us all to share little tips and tricks and such.

T&J, I won't abandon NJ but I'm up for meeting any smart folks that aren't too far away. NJ / NY / PA / CT memberships sound good. It just gives me an excuse to drive my baby and to meet up with some new smart friends.

Plus, during this process I'll learn even more interesting areas to travel too. I have some wonderful ideas for some NJ north and south shore points of interests and some neat areas in Brooklyn too along with Manhattan. I just can't wait to get started.
