SMART Car for Northern CA approval testing

I just bought a SMART car from out of state- there is a dealer in Southern CA but they did not have the car in the color that I wanted. Does anyone know of a company in Northern CA that can complete the required test for approval in the State- I am aware of G&J Automotive Conversion, but if there is another company closer to San Francisco- this would be better becuase it would be closer.

Also does anyone know of the test that are required because I could look for myself-
