I hope the cops came and hauled his a$$ off to jail. There are WAY too many uninsured drivers in TX and we pay dearly for insurance to cover them.

Also glad you are OK!

I would have wanted to kick the dudes arse just due to the fact that he had no insurance....oh and the deciding not to learn English thing, (if he is in fact living in AMERICA). Don't get me started....

Please let us know what the insurance quote is to fix the smart when you hear.

He did not speak english, or have any insurance

Thats why everybody should carry uninsured/underinsured insurance along with the regular coverage

Not sure how the fact whether the driver spoke English or not is relevant but if you were hit at 50 mph, the smart came out in relatively unscathed.

Sorry to hear about your encounter. Hard to take especially because you were just minding your own business. Rapid recovery to your smartie. Glad you weren't hurt.

Were you stopped and he was doing 50? How fast were you going - i.e. if you were doing 45 and he was doing 50, this is a 5 MPH crash.

I would be completely bummed out if some idiot did this to me.

Then again, better when in my Smart than when on my motorcycle.

Get well quick ;)
