Hope that changes, Could not get the subscription to work on my computer. Read the small print at that site unless they fixed it there are bugs with the newer windows operating system.

added this

" Due to certain compatibility requirements, customers using operating systems other than windows 98 through windows 2007 may experience difficulty or may be unable to access wis/asra applications. We are not responsible for any accessibility or functionality issue(s) caused by incompatible operating systems."

I have a copy of the 2008 fortwo tech manual pdf. It does have neat stuff, but it's not a repair manual by any stretch of the imagination. Veedubh, if you'd like a copy, PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you.

I have been able to do repairs just with the tech manual before because of it giving locations of some specific parts........it is a useful addition.

But, YOU could probably repair just about anything with your eyes closed!

Awww shucks. I am not that good. The tech manual did help me diagnose/fix a few other SCoA member's cars over the phone where I could tell them where and what to look at.

It'd still be nice to have a paper repair manual. I can't believe how the price has gone up for your regular Haynes and Chilton manuals. We used to sell them in our store for $9.99. Went to the store the other day and they were $24.99. My personal preference is factory manuals but the most I'll pay is around $100 for one of those.

I have an electronic copy of the official MB WIS/ASRA for the 2008 model year (and things have not changed that much). The company I got it from (whichmanuals.com) does not seem to have them available anymore. The system is almost 100MB in size and is accessed with a browser interface.

I am willing to extract repair procedures for folks and email them in a PDF format. We could even create a library for requests to be stored for others to use. The smallest extract will be over 200K, so posting attachments will not work.

The best way to make a request would be to PM me with your email address.

Denis
