Yes it is. When Joel McHale enters John Olivers car you can clearly tell it's a Smart. I was actually shocked nothing witty was said about the size or something.

Anyhow, feel free to mention where you have seen Smart's in popular culture. (movies, television, etc..) The only other place I have seen a Smart is in the Da Vinci Code

I have watched this movie three times now, and it wasn't until the last time I realized that in the fight sequence in the streets of New York, near the end, there are about 10 smarts in the traffic on the streets. Looks like most are 450's, and they are all yellow.

I don't remember where it was. We had watched the season premier episode of Bones, and left the TV on. I was doing a word search puzzle, and looked up and saw the smart. A mid-season replacement show "The Unusuals" featured a smart 451 in one of it's episodes about an elderly gent who kept getting arrested. The smart sequence was when he 'hijacked' a pizza delivery car (smart) and led the cops on a 'slow speed' chase at about 10 mph. It was actually pretty funny . . . the whole show was funny; now that I think about it.

I watched Michael Moores movie "Sicko" today and while filming in France, of all places, I noticed at least two smarts. A Silver/Silver one parked curbside and a Black one passing by in the background.

But as I said, it WAS France......you would EXPECT to see them there, right?


btw, I watched "Community" last night and saw the scene with the smart. They made it out to be very cramped with two people inside. Not only was I NOT impressed with that, the show itself didn't strike me as one that will be around long. It was like "Caddyshack" with a college setting instead of a golf course, ONLY NOT FUNNY!
