Smart car windshield button

Does anyone know where I can get the Button that goes on the windshield which the mirror slides onto???

I have tried the dealership in Indianapolis and a few others with no results. I purchased a whole other mirror that said came with everything, but it does not.

Any insite would be greatly appreciated!!! Maybe if anyone knows of any junk yards around that may have a smart car in it???

Does SMART have a website that you can purchse parts from???

Are you putting a smart mirror back on the windshield or another that you purchased?

I've read on another forum that the smart 'button' is a different size than most vehicles. Some are trying to get the mirror out of the front sight line for taller folks, and a mirror/arm purchased at the parts store won't mount on the smart mount - it's too small.

If that's the case you'd do better at a junk yard or maybe auto glass shop. Let us know what you find - I'm in the market for the same mod.

Could be the big button referred to as the automatic windsheld wiper sensor.
