Sorry - my inner smart a$$ got the better of me....
My thoughts exactly. Magnate as is captain of industry? Shipping tycoon? This writer prefers the traditional "magnet" versus "magnate" for the intended reference
I don't know if I would classify all of them as "babes", but many of the females I've spoken to seem to have traveled the world a bit (or at least claim to have) and claims to have seen the smart running about Europe.
In this last month of ownership, I have had all ages of men, women and children gawking, smiling, giving me the thumbs up and peace signs about the smartie.
I have found that "babes" don't care for this car, but women LOVE it!! Under 25 not much response, but 25 to 45+, seem to really like it. Seems like the more class they have the more they dig it: they love to tell me how they saw them in Rome, or Paris etc. If you are looking for bimbos or porn stars this is the wrong car, But if sophisticated educated women of independent means are your interest, well, this might be a good car.
Just my 2 cents based on 1 month with a smart cabrio in Los Angeles.
I agree with you market research
Here in NJ supermarket cashiers don't like the smart but women with Good cars and style love it.
