Today I received a call from SMART USA stating a new SMART CENTER will go into operation in Richmond Virginia by the end of the year, 2009. YEAH!

I live 50 miles or so north of Richmond and currently drive to Alexandria. I'd much prefer a drive to Richmond over a drive to D.C. Great news!

scAlexandria (Fern St.) is about 2 minutes from I-95 N. and, IMHO, very easy access from your place. It all depends of where in Richmond the new Dealer is going to be located. But I suspect it's going to be in the South/West of Richmond, where most car dealers are located. Wouldn't that make it more cumbersome?
