Smart covers

I have been unable to find anyone who makes a custom car cover for a Smart coupe that accomodates the two side mirrors and the antenna. I had no problem with my other cars finding covers that had these features. I have contacted several internet firms, but no luck.
Anyone out there have this same issue???

Not a problem

Check here
Product List
DO a seach for cover and you should find plenty, If the antena is still a problem, Loot at changing it out for a shorter one.

Check out Chart One covers: eBay Store ? Chart-One-Auto: Search results for.

The stock antenna is flexible enough to bend back and fit under these covers.

As suggested above, changing to a stubby antenna will quickly resolve that issue.

I have a full cover for El Diablo, but find it cumbersome. Just bought a California Pop Top from SmartMadness and love it. Goes on in seconds, covers the cabrio and windows to reduce wear and tear. Had it on this weekend in rather windy conditions and it stayed put.

No need for stubbies or bending the antenna under the cover. The smart antenna is never a problem with full car covers. The mast simply unscrews for removal. That way you dont have to make a hole in the car cover. Luckily my other covered vehicles have the same work around. They either have a power antenna or a mast that is very easy to remove. On my Explorer, I unscrew the mast and stick it under one of the wiper arms before putting the cover on. You could also put the mast on the dash of your smart.

The Pop Top actually has an elastic loop that you put the antenna mast through to help secure the cover.

I have the California Custom car cover for my Brabus coupe. It fits very well with mirror pockets and has never blown off in strong winds. I use the stubby antenna so no holes in the cover. I have used this brand in the "Noah" style for several cars and even my Dodge dually. An excellent product. Not the cheapest, but worth the money.
