I would LOVE to have one of those, if they did get the 'range issue' resolved. But I would need at least 120 miles/charge to cover a two-day commute to and from work.

And the sound effects?????? SWEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hear it now: "Hey, that thing got a HEMI?"

While reading this article - did anyone get a translucent window from "Relevant Knowledge" requesting permission to watch your browsing habits? (I was using Mozilla Firefox at the time).

I just closed the window without saying "Yes" or "No" and now have their icon in my tray.

Acording to Dave S at the Midwest Rally, WHen it comes here it will start in limited markets, Minimum top speed of 70, maybe higher, and about 100 mile range.

He said you will probebly need to hang on off the line, But if it compromises batery life that might be electronicly limited

And of course the socialy responsible sound effects. You want the kids playing in the street to hear you comming, as well as the ocasional deaf person (very important in our nec of the woods). Now find me a sound that will drive the wildlife off the road and Ill be happy

. . . and after all these years - I can still hear that sound of the bubbletopped aerocar. *Sigh* I honestly thought I'd live long enough to live as the Jetson's.
