Hello.....I just got this email message with the above text thru my garbage email address, the one that I have set up to allow SMART contacts<<<<<

And looking at the crap on the "reyray.com website as follows:

Calm down, nobody has been hacked or sold your address.

Reynolds and Reynolds supply forms and other suport systems to dealers. Your dealer used their software and server to send you an email, end of story.

Seems people complain if they don't get contact or they do. It clearly says "Thank you for your contacting smart center Portland." and even provides a phone number to the dealership, which a very quick webseach confirms is indeed their phone number. I wish that were the worst spam mail I find.

This is 2008.....if you are "smartcenter of portland" or whatever business entity you are, get a spotty teenager who knows anything about the "internet" (thanks Al. Gore) to configure your email to your customers with an email domain source that isn't "reyray.com" or whatever.

Oh what a joy to get an email with a header "your smart is here " from , dare I say it, "smartcarofportland.com"...."smartcarpdx.com"...." pdxsmartcar.com: etc etc ..I won't go on.

When you ring the number provided by "reyray.com" ..errr there is no "hello you have called the Smart car center in Portland please leave blah blah"
