Smart EV lights

I posted a topic in the mods section, but of of our local club members has been asking WTH I am talking about when I talk about the puddle lights below the doors on the EV. Does anyone know the picture I am talking about and has anyone successfully done this mod? I know I am posting it on the GenDisc area, because this is mostly for the pics. Thanks.

Just a WAGuess here, but they're probably hooked up to the battery~!
Why don't you be the guinea pig and try a set out . . . let us know how much trouble they are to install, etc. We'd all appreciate it -

Sorry, I get smarmy after the Bucs lose, again!

Can someone explain the purpose of those lights under the car? To check for puddles?

Aside from "looking cool" they can help with egress and ingress - showing where you're stepping whether in a puddle, onto an oil slick, or onto a luckless lizard - and easily identify your car when you unlock above and beyond the headlights.

I hear the parking lots in some parts of Disney can get silly with so many people unlocking their cars with remotes to figure out where they are... all at once! It's nice if you can stick out in a more unique way.

They're not dissimilar from the Brabus lights, so how about the images here:

Admit it...it has nothing to do with looking for puddles. Some just think it looks cool.

If you want 'puddle lights', then mount them in the bottom of the doors and have them activate when the doors are opened.

'Jet' has a neat mod that he's going to do on his Brabus, which is along these same lines but more of a safety issue than looking 'cool'.

In L.A., they use the lights to check for poodles.
