In the first artical about depreciation where GM leads the pack the Chevrolet Malibu lost 5.5% of its value for the month but in the 10 best the Chevrolet Malibu is on the top of their list.
Well, this is a bit like the stock market, the only prices that matter are on the day you buy and on the day you sell. So if you aren't selling you smart fortwo today, does this really matter?

Not today, not tomorrow, not for a LONG TIME! (UNLESS I get a BRABUS! Even then I'd consider keeping this one too!)

Funny that on that list, that VOLVO has appreciated. That junker (IMHO; they do NOT like Texas heat!) only gets like 18 mpg!
I suspect that once the excitement of the BP oil discovery in the Gulf of Mexico dies down, gas is going to soar again, and all those F150's will return to the used car lots.

Reason: Added a thought.
You know, this is the same kind of thing you see on all those home improvement shows where the folks remodel and the host says something like "Oh! You've made $.... on this remodel!" Well, guess what. You haven't made diddly unless you SELL the place - you've SPENT $...... Reality, guys..
And you can say all day that my Tiny Red has lost $....., but I haven't lost a penny because I'm not selling her. In my book, she's worth every penny I paid in the good mileage I get, in the smiles I have every time I drive her and in the 'cute' remarks and smiles I get from the people who see her.
Is just a post, your sacarstic stupidity doesn't contribute anything to forum
