?? Smart Logo ??

Hey does anyone have a clue to what the Smart logo means?

I have been trying to figure it out.

I thought maybe if you look at it so the triangle is on top, the triangle looks like a dunce hat on top of a head (the C) Maybe it was supposed to not make sense because a dunce hat means dumb. Opposite of dump, Smart?

Compact....Forward Thinking

I have read that the smart logo is designed as follows:
The "C" portion stands for "compact" -
The arrow portion stands for "Forward thinking" -
Any one else wanna jump in and correct this if I'm wrong??

Personally it reminds me of a chicken head. . . but, hey - who knows what weird thoughts go through a designer's head when working on something like this.

I was thinking about the same thing.
