A year ago, I was driving home in the Dark in the Rocky Mountains here in Alberta, Canada, when four Deer Jumped out in front of my Smart Car. I was cruising at about 100 km/h and swerved but hit the last deer. The deer, died within a few moments. I felt rotten. I've never hit an animal before in a car.
However, my Smart Car was basically undamaged. I had a small peice of plastic on the front passenger side fender break off but otherwise, I could not see any damage. A trip to the dealership the next week revealed that I needed to replace a cracked signal light on the passenger side, but that was it. The car is solid. I've seen full sized pick up trucks hit deer and need to be written off so I feel pretty safe in my Tridon Safety Frame I can tell you that.
