Smart Nano or... the $2k smart

Ok, this is getting a little irritating. Within the past 24 hours, I've been asked at least 3 times whether the smart is "that $2,000 car from India?" or "Those Indians are so talented. Can't believe they can make such a great car for $2,500."

Permission to run over their toes.

I really wish people would pay attention to the news. If they heard about that car they would know that it has 4 doors. God Americans love to be stupid sometimes!

I think you will find Americans don't have a lock on stupid. Not to mention I have a hard time criticizing anyone for not watching the news when I see most of the tripe that is on there.

Although I don't have a problem with you running over their toes either SmartPassion.

I think an appropriate response to "Those Indians are so talented..." would be: "Actually, they prefer to be called Native Americans". Fight dumb with dumber!

And then run over their toes.

I've seen the car, and it is ugly. It looks like a cross between a smart and a VW bug. I call it the Smug.

Smarts should've come with Tri-star emblems from the start. That would end that confusion.

I was wondering why nobody has asked me the 'Nano' question, until I read your post.
