SMART Stole the show in a MINI meet

The turnout was fairly impressive yesterday with 47 cars present. The first meeting I attended in quite a while...mainly to see the Bumblebee. The Smart got a lot of attention, and a lot of questions were asked and answered.

Everyone was amazed how roomy the car was inside, how high up the seating was. Of course, the larger number of those that looked at it were car people and already knew a fair amount about the car.

There was at least one photo taken of the classic Mini next to the Smart, hopefully it'll show up today.

Perry ** thanks so much for bringing Bumblebee. You are a super ambassodor and patient to answer the same questions over and over. It was great to see you, as well!

That was my first MINI meet in about 2 years also. It's amazing to see that for a monthly meeting we have around 50 cars compared the then infant days where we were happy to see 15 - 20 cars...I can see the dfw having their own smart monthly meetings farily soon as more and more people get their cars.

Thanks for the pic's!!! Nice older Mini there. We have an old car show in May during the Blessing of the Fleet day in Darien Georgia. If, I decide to get my Smart I will take it and my old Blue Corvair as well. Should be a good conversation piece and fun day.
